What is a seed ball?
A seed ball is a low cost and effective means of fast plantation. The seed is encased in a mixture of common soil or clay, compost, and ash. This protects the seeds by preventing them from drying out in the sun, getting eaten by birds, or from blowing away. It germinates 3 times faster than a normal seed.
 
Throw & Grow
Drop seed balls in your garden, container, or backyard. You can also insert them partially in the ground. Seeds are protected by clay, have all the nutrients they need to grow, and will lie dormant until it rains or is given water.

These seed balls were prepared by government school children as a part of their evening school activity. Funds from this initiative will be used to purchase a projector for them.
